I met a Shaman today and spent some time talking to him. He does a lot of energy healing and is extremely sensitive to other people’s energy. He does some really wild stuff with energy, like way beyond just chakras and energy healing.

From his business card, it says he specializes in shamanic healing arts and is/does spiritual counseling, ADHD counseling, reiki master, esoteric healing, and medicine wheel. As he was describing what he does, he was waving his hands in the air and explaining how he moves energy around. It was like he was moving and pushing globs of energy around the body.

He started telling me about how you can go into the woods and detect gnomes, fairies, guardian spirits, and all this other stuff. It sounds pretty out there, but I’m sure he’s onto something. He travels around doing lots of energy healing wherever he’s needed (typically around here in the southeast USA and Florida) and spends time in New Mexico (I believe) with a wise Indian chief doing all sorts of energetic stuff.. the name of what they do escapes me.

One interesting thing was that when we started talking about Chakras, he pulled a pendulum right out of his pocket (it was a golden pointy orb on a gold chain, not a crystal) and had me hold out my palms. Over my left hand it spun CCW and over my right it spun CW (I think that’s right, but it may be backwards) which he said was good. One hand is positive and one is negative. We were sitting side by side and he then hung it about six inches in front of my heart chakra (we were sitting side by side… I though you had to be laying down to do this). Music started blaring then and the energy of it actually messed up the pendulum and we couldn’t get a reading off of it. I asked if you could get a chakra reading from your hands because they’re connected to your heart chakra and he said that the whole body is connected energetically.

I’m going to talk to him again tomorrow and see what else I can learn. He mentioned that he’d love to go out and take people around a forest and show them how to reconnect with nature, feel new and different types of energy, and all sorts of wild things which goes way beyond the scope of anything I’d ever heard about, so hopefully we can work something out in the future!

Surprisingly, he’s a pretty regular looking guy. He was an older white guy with a trimmed beard and mustache, eyeglasses, etc. Not your stereotypical wiseman that you’d think of.

Honestly, I’m not even all that sure on what a Shaman actually is, but I know Steph is delving into that realm and like he’s been hinting at, Shamans do some seriously cool stuff with energy.

That’s about all I know so far and will let you guys know what else I learn after talking with him more in depth tomorrow!

Sweeeeet man.. this guy sounds like some of the shamans I chill with. All the talk about fairies, etc. and they say ghita’s soul is from the earth fairy realms, which was really funny for us to hear because I always used to tell ghita that her soul was fairy (even though I have very little to go on).

Ask him what soul type you are - who knows. At the very least, it can be entertaining. To me, if I get really good, strong goosebumps, I take it as a confirmation.

They tell me that my soul type is a shamanistic wizard, not unlike gandolf. And they say this is why ghita and I get along so well, we’re both cute little earth creature caretaking types

Who knows.. this is the stuff I try not to talk about too much - I’ve learned to stay on-topic as much as possible. I don’t know, nor can prove any of this stuff is real, but it makes my heart sing so there must be something to it

One of the guys I know has pictures on his camera of what he claims to be REAL GNOMES. It’s a pretty convincing picture too, not bad, but certainly not scientific. He claims that fairies, etc. will only let people see them when there is no chance of any energy vampings, very much in the same way that some people can live with packs of wolves, or chill out with bears because their aura/energy is so clear and free from anger, hatred, etc.

Ghita used to play with fairies when she was younger, and while my logical mind cannot fully ever believe this stuff, it still makes my heart feel really great inside.

I see my cat playing with fairies - i can’t see the fairies yet but my cat often “plays with nothing” in the air and stuff like tat. Who knows, I enjoy thinking in these terms
