I’m kind of feeling sad, like I’m losing an old friend..
*ANGER*
Whenever I start to feel it, it gets filtered through my Heart and turns right into Compassion.. like an automatic program that I deliberately installed about 2 years ago.
A number of GTP customers have reported the same thing, since they used the 5D Compassion formula, which is just a series of simple questions that will move anybody who is capable of self-honesty out of anger/contempt/judgment and into pure compassion within minutes.
So today I drew in a little test..
Ghita and I went to the local bagel shop, and each ordered bagel & cream cheese.. so anyway, she had some smoked salmon with her, from the grocery store, and decided to try some with her bagel.
A guy who works there saw her doing this, and literally came running over to our table, FUMING in anger, and started lecturing Ghita. My first gut-level response was obviously “inner caveman, protect thy woman” type of response, and I remember feeling the desire to just enjoy a little anger, like I was asking my own brain to please let me have a little fun.
So, I said to the guy, “You’re a very important person, you’re like the bagel police!” and just then when I was starting to enjoy the fun, the battle, the anger, the FIGHT… bam bam bam.. compassion set in.
DOH!
I was like, “Noooo! C’mon brain, I want to enjoy some anger, let me just play with this guy a little!” and just as those thoughts were running through my head, I started feeling all of this love & compassion for the guy.
Isn’t it interesting how human beings are actually ADDICTED to their habitual emotions?
I feel like a crack addict letting go of drugs… I literally MISS feeling angry! I want to enjoy “one last hit”!
So anyway, this guy was REALLY pissed at me for calling him the “bagel police” while laughing, and I think he could sense a temporary weakness in me, because I was shifting away from anger and into compassion, so a window was left open for about 10 seconds for him to jump inside and wreak havoc.
Which is interesting in and of itself.. if you show people that you have no spine, you’ll draw in plenty of angry people to take advantage of the situation. But as soon as the spine is erect, they all get scared and go pick on weaker subjects.
Since he could sense a little incongruity in me, he leaned forward and said, “Do you have a fuckin’ problem with me man?!”
I said, “You don’t actually hate me, it’s your own reflection in the mirror that you hate. I’m just your mirror.”
He didn’t get it, felt stupid, and then said, “You’re lucky I’m at work, I’ll bet you wouldn’t be able to say that to me if we were outside on the street”.
I said, “When Existence wants me dead, I will die. Now, if God wants to use your hands to make me dead, so be it.”
I swear, for the first time during our little dialogue, I saw a facial expression come over him that looked exactly like RESPECT. A funny thing happens when you offer yourself to your enemy, it takes all the joy out of killing. He gave me a knowing look and walked off, it was pretty cool.
There is a story that I read recently, while I was on the plane, headed for L.A. about Alexander The Great.
At one time, he had to go to India for one reason or another, and his soldiers & counselors all asked him if he could bring a Sannyasin (enlightened being, meditative man) back from India, because at the time, only in India did such rare flowers exist.
Alex The Great finished up with his business in India, and on his way back home he remembered about getting a Sannyasin to come home with him, so he stopped in a nearby village with some of his soldiers to go find one.
And a villager told him, “You are in luck, because not only do we have a Sannyasin, but we happen to have a very, very advanced one, a teacher of Sannyasin’s.”
Alexander told his men to go fetch him, and the villager LAUGHED and said, “You cannot just “fetch” a true Sannyasin, they are fearless, nobody including you and your entire army can control them.”
This enraged Alexander, and he told his men, “Go now and bring me this man!!”
Off they went, and they found this Sannyasin standing naked under a tree. They said, “Alexander The Great has invited you to come to our country and stay for a few days as our guest. You will be treated like royalty, and all comforts will be provided.”
The naked man just laughed, and laughed, and laughed.
He then said, “A man who calls himself “great” cannot be so. I decline, thank you.”
Normally, the soldiers would have just grabbed him and forced him, but they could not because they felt in this man a great presence.. they were in awe of him, so they just left to tell Alexander about him.
They said, “This man stands naked, but in his presence you do not feel that he is naked. He is the most beautiful man, innocent, pure, it’s as if the entire surroundings.. seem to delight in him.”
Alexander was enraged that his men failed such a simple mission, they could not even get one naked man - such a WEAK MAN - to follow their orders… so he grabbed his sword and went over to see this “Sannyasin” and force him to come home with them.
Upon seeing the Sannyasin, Alexander said, “Gather your things, you are coming with me!”
The naked man just laughed, and laughed, and laughed…
He said, “I am just like a cloud, I can only go where existence takes me, because I am free.”
Alexander picked up his sword, and the man said, “If you want to kill me, you cannot because I am not my body. You can cut my head off, and you will see my head fall onto the ground and roll into the sand. Then we will both be standing here, watching my head fall and roll into the sand. I am not my body, so please, if you need to cut this old head off, I offer it to you. Here it is.” and he bent down to allow Alexander the chance to cut it off.
Alexander The great just stood there, silent. The Sannyasin then said, “Go ahead and put your sword back in it’s sheath, it is of no use here.”
It’s been said that this was the first time that Alexander The Great ever followed someone else’s orders. He fell down to his knees and said, “Never before have I encountered such a beautiful man” and kissed his feet.
Later on, when he returned to his village, his people enquired about the Sannyasin, and he said, “When a man is ready to die, it removes all of the joy, all of the pupose in killing. Only when man FIGHTS is there any meaning in killing, otherwise to kill is completely meaningless - all the fun is lost.”
Ahhhh, anger.
I’m going to miss you, old friend

Ah my old friend “Courage, the joy of living dangerously” reappears courtesy of Stephane. It’s nice to see another Osho quote here. It reaffirms my personal spritual path knowing that there are others who DO understand and have a path of their own to travel.
Do you drive? Just asking, because being stuck in traffic, especially in the heat of the summer, dealing with “idiots” tests my anger patience. Nothing else really phases me but that.
Awesome Alexander The Great story. Enjoyable read…
