Alright, so I flew home yesterday. Costa Rica is amazing. The same holds true for the circle, the house, the view, the hospitality, the foodies, the energy, the experience, and everything else involved.
Let’s go for a little tour around the IG Costa Rica Circle House and meet the family, shall we?
First off, let’s meet the oak tree, Stephane:

Next we have the lovely Ghita:

As well as the wonderful Greta:

Then there’s Sie, the chilled out, laid-back mofo from Bristol, UK. He’s the guy who’s been living with Steph & Circle for over 6 months, recording videos with them, preparing new IG programs, and getting his ass perpetually kicked by Steph in 9-ball pool, continually coming back again and again for more beatings.

Plus there’s the smoochable Libra:

Here’s the circle together:

The “energy” of the circle is very warm, lively, open-hearted, accepting, free, light, and fun.

Not even a few hundred feet away lives the fantastic Sean & Leslie duo, the ideaGasms web development and marketing team. (You guys up for some photos next time too?)

Let’s go look around the circle house itself.
Inside the main area, there’s the pool table with an awesome view overlooking the rainforest thanks to the big windows everywhere.

Step outside on to the deck and you’ll find a hot tub with a view looking out west towards the city, and another mountain range off in the distance.

As the weather changes throughout the day, sometimes the mountains and city disappears from view, particularly when it gets foggy or rainy.
Feel free to have a seat on the patio, work on your tan, and sip on some tasty tropical drinks.

For those of you planning on visiting, here’s the room downstairs where you’re gonna stay.

Out through the window is a view of the rainforest and mountains. Off in the distance early in the morning, or really late at night depending on when you go to sleep
you can hear a rooster cock-a-doodle-doo’ing. I love that guy. What’s cool about him is that he’s close enough to where you can hear the intricacies of his caw, yet far enough away to where you can easily tune him out without him disturbing your sleep.
Step outside and you’ll find a trampoline which is a blast to bounce around on.

Surrounding the house you’ll find plenty of nature including tropical fruit growing in the orchards, bright flowers, and colorful birds like this blue-crowned motmot.

There’s big birds like eagles and hawks that soar overhead and little birds that zip through the trees. There’s butterflies that flutter all around in the mornings and beetles that crawl around the house.

We even found this frog who’d hopped in through an open window in the bathroom.

When moving him to free him, he wound up jumping onto my back.
He’s got some really sticky feet! Steph tried to get Libra to eat him, but Libra wasn’t up for it.
Now as for the experience itself, it was really wonderful. Seeing the circle for yourself and seeing how perfectly things fit seems to clear so many things up. It feels more natural than most anything else I’ve seen before.
There’s no power struggles. Everyone contributes and serves each other. Steph makes decisions and works on IG while the girls help him out and spend time together when he’s busy.
I found it very valuable to have them around to ask questions. For example, we were watching Cali fornication and the main character has great game. Steph would sit there and break his game down to explain what he’s doing and why it works as well as answer any additional questions that came up.
He’s really good at playing pool and was great at explaining why he’s doing what he’s doing and then showing all the little things he does to make things happen.
The girls are absolutely wonderful. They’re so helpful and giving, very feminine and giggly.
I realize some people misinterpret Steph, the girls, and the circle to think he’s some sort of controlling asshole or the girls are butch lesbians. Nothing could be farther from the truth…
Steph is very strong and definitely leads, but from his heart and from a place of compassion and unconditional love. The girls are both yin, yet they can play with yang energies when needed.
Anyone who’s interested in going or even just considering visiting, I HIGHLY (!!) recommend you do it. You’ll learn so much about relationships and circle dynamics… Man oh man. It really helps to actually SEE this stuff in action as opposed to only reading about it or hearing about it.
It’ll clear up lots of misconceptions as well. For example, Steph talks about spanking girls and getting them to follow your lead. It’s easy to talk about problems and people are typically asking about how to handle problems. Yet the vast majority of the time, they are together simply enjoying themselves like normal people. It’s easy, relaxed, loving, and fun. It’s not spank spank spank.
