Someone asked me to post about my experiences in teaching… The following are a few key things I’ve learned over the years, and this post is mainly for myself, to reinforce my own wisdom/lessons about teaching and about being in the public eye. But, if anybody reading this gets value from this, awesome.
If you plan to start a buisness of this nature, or you teach in any way, you might want to check out some of these points.
I took a week off due to wisdom teeth removal horrors, and so I spent a lot of time thinking about teaching, and all the little lessons I’ve learned along the way about being a teacher. And writing newsletters, making products, influencing people to let go of negativistic thought patterns, handling irate customers, etc. etc.
Here goes.. teaching notes to Self:

Thursday Night May 24th
Jungle King and I went out to have a nice supper. We bought a bottle of wine and decided to go to an ‘Approtez Votre Vin’ place. We kept walking and walking and we couldn’t find any, we were tired, we had a long day, and I was in the mood for fish. We finally decided to stop at this great little place whose specialty was fish. The waiter liked us so much he let us have our wine, which was tres cool of him.
(I had my first ever Red Snapper, it was FANTASTIC!)
Over supper we were talking about my game.
Stephane had this great idea, and when he gets an idea everything else disappears, he has so much fun playing around with sentences, he’s done so much pickup that he’s got all this data in his mind of what to say when to say it, how to say it and things I have never even thought about. I mean you should see him when he’s on a writing streak. I could talk to him and talk to him and nothing will go in. He’s just so focused on what he is doing, it drives me up the wall sometimes because I will ask him if he’s hungry and give him some choices for supper and he won’t answer and I’ll ask again and he won’t answer so I’ll go and work on the computer or whatever, and then a little while later he’ll be asking me “I’m really hungry! What’s for supper! I want to eat now, where have you been?”

Letter from a girl:
helloo there beautiful!!
i hope u remember our encounter..it made my night…i dont remember the name of the bar but i am the girl with the pink tiara, lip ring, and pink hair u met at the end of april.
i was just dropping a line…finally got to check out ideagasms.net and i love it..signed up for the newsletter and i’m looking forward to spicing up my love life!
i also wanted to say thank you. i posted a picture of us on facebook, quoting our meeting and your website in the caption. well, my mother had also heard of ideagasms, and when she saw the site she decided to check it out…and after reading through your blog, she came across the entry describing me and our encounter. needless to say, a fair amount of awkwardness on my part has been allieviated, as my mother didn’t know i’m bisexual, and now i dont need to tell her!! [she also mentioned, before i checked out the blog, how she doesnt care what her daughter does blahblah..much more accepting than i thought she'd be] just random happy thing of the day..wanted to share it with you.
hopefully we can stay in touch and get together next time i’m in montreal…

xo
ps i’ve attached a picture of us from that night.
Hey Giggles&Kisses,
Of course I remember you, you made my night as well, I had a fantastic time talking to you and you gave me so much good energy.. actively picking up chicks can get discouraging at times, but there are cool girls out there (like you) that are proud of their sexuality and are more interesting to talk to than a piece of furniture :o)
So thank you for writing, you made my day :o)

This past weekend my face looked like a chipmunk that had eaten way too many nuts. I got my wisdom teeth pulled out on Thursday, and was unable to do or eat much of anything. It was kind of like a vacation thanks to the painkillers, but I’m so tired of soup and yoghurt and putting carrots in the blender that I would do anything to eat something crunchy.
Stephane was wonderful to me while I was going through this past weekend. He took care of me so well. He went out and bought all kinds of organic yoghurt, pastas, soft cheeses, jello and organic soups for me. One of the soups was so delicious, but I puked in up into the sink. But it was so good that I would actually go out and buy it again even though I puked it up. Now you know it’s good soup if you can puke it up and still want more.
